DIY DROP CLOTH TABLE RUNNER
Today, I am sharing with you another inexpensive way to make something pretty for your home using drop cloth.
A table runner with fringe.
I love this material because it is so easy to work with and it goes well with everything.
I always buy the drop cloth at Lowe's. I really like this brand, good quality with little imperfections.
This time around, I made a runner for our family room coffee table using drop cloth I already had at home.
I cut my drop cloth 15"W x 72"L with an extra inch all around for the seam. (16"x73")
I did sew mine, but if you want, you can also use iron on hem tape. It will work just fine.
To finish it off, I purchased at Hobby Lobby one yard of fringe that would compliment the drop cloth and sew it on each end.
The fringe was $5,99 a yard, but with the 40% coupon, I paid $3.60 and that was the total cost of this project.
Very simple and economical, that way, when in a few weeks you ( me) decide to change it again,
you (me) won't feel that bad about it. LOL
I hope you give this project a try.
