FROM MY DEAR FRIEND

Good morning, everyone!

Happy New Year!

Hard to believe we just entered the year 2014, but I have to say I am very much looking forward to another year of blogging, making new friends and continue enjoying all of your blogs.

It sure has been a wonderful time so far and one thing I am very grateful for is all the friendships I have made during this blogging journey.

Sometimes it seems hard to believe you can get to be so close to somebody you have never met in person before, but that is the case with my good and dear friend Helen.

Helen and I met years ago at a decorating website and we have stayed in close touch all this time.

Helen has also been blogging for a while now at Helen's Decor and was a big help to me when starting my blog.

She is my #1 cheerleader! :)

And you will never find a kindest person.

Two weeks ago, just a few days before Christmas, a package came in the mail.

I was so surprised and touched when I saw it was from Helen.

Inside, a card with my name on it.

Yes! That's me! Maria E. LOL

And inside, a beautiful kitchen set that matches the frames from Spain that I have in my kitchen year round.

How did she ever find these?

I bought the frames so long ago! 

You want to talk about being excited! :)

 

Of course, I had to find a way to display them next to my pretty rooster picture.

And then I remembered I had a magnetic bar in my storage closet, which it worked perfect on the side of my fridge.

Now, my vignette is complete and it sure puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.
